Tom Grant – Instructor | Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Tom has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Team Redzovic since 2009. Before that he spent the better part of a decade training in the sport of Fencing, first in Chicago then at the Olympic level training facility at Ohio State.

Tom had a successful NCAA career in fencing, which included earn the title of All-Conference and helped win a team NCAA National Championship in 2008. Since his focus turn to jiu jitsu Tom has developed a deep passion for jiu jitsu and still uses much of the coaching experience he gained in Ohio.

Since moving back to Chicago earned a Master’s Degree in Education and is a teacher here in the Chicago-land area. Tom seeks to create a class that builds a student’s confidence in themselves and their technique, either for self-defense or for competition.
