Personal philosophy on Martial Arts

If you think you can, you are right…If you think you can’t, you are also right.

Martial arts teaches us to challenge our beliefs about our world and ourselves. Don’t compare yourself with others. Don’t worry about who[m] is better than you or whom you think you are better than. Just work on yourself – that is what practice is for.

Let the practice be the way for you to break through your limitations and your comfort zone. You create the opportunity to try new things.

The day that you practice for, the sheer joy that comes from the practice itself, is the day you truly become a martial artist.

In other words, if you want the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain!

Reason for teaching (Martial Arts):

I have been teaching dance for over 20 years so I enjoy sharing my love for teaching. I love showing my passion for Tae Kwon Do and sharing my martial arts experience to help my students achieve their very best. I go beyond teaching just the material. I make each class fun and challenging. I enjoy seeing my students grow each class lastly…I seem to be good at it!
